The Rex C. and Lillian M. Wood Collection consists of two albums and 53 sheets of digital prints made from original photographs, negatives and photographic transparencies. The bulk of the images were taken in the Fairbanks, Alaska, region from 1941 through 1947. Subjects include Fairbanks street scenes, residences and buildings; weather bureau operations at Weeks Field; Pan American Airways operations and personnel at Weeks Field; Russian aviators and aircraft associated with Lend-lease activities; and members of the Wood family and their activities. Also included are images of the Nenana Ice Classic at Nenana, Alaska.
